SCTEX toll rates going up before Undas 2023
Toll hike on SCTEX to be split into 3 tranches over a period of three years

Heads up motorists, the NLEX Corporation along with the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has just announced that toll rates on the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) are set to be adjusted later this week.
Beginning Oct 17, 2023, toll fees along the expressway will receive a moderate price increase. But in order to protect the motorists who frequently use the toll road from existing inflationary situations, the TRB has ordered the implementation of the provisionally approved toll fee increase in 3 tranches over a period of three years.

Motorists traveling between Tarlac City to Mabalacat in Class 1, Class, and Class 3 vehicles will have to pay an additional PHP 25, PHP 50, and PHP 75, accordingly. On the other hand, those traveling between Mabalacat and Tipo, Hermosa, Bataan will have to shell out an extra PHP 40 for Class 1 vehicles, PHP 81 for Class 2, and PHP 121 for Class 3.
Last but not least, motorists traveling from end to end from Tipo, Hermosa, Bataan to Tarlac City will need to pay an additional PHP 65 for Class 1, PHP 131 for Class 2, and PHP 196 for Class 3 vehicles.
With the toll rate increase set before the start of Undas, those heading to the provinces via SCTEX better take note of the increased toll fees before they head out. Moreover, be sure to top up your RFIDs for a more seamless driving experience.
