Save the date: All-new Mitsubishi Triton Strada launches July 26
In just several more weeks, Mitsubishi will reveal the new-generation Strada/Triton pick-up

Three months ago, Mitsubishi wowed the motoring public when they revealed the XRT Concept at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show. Despite being covered in a unique camouflage livery, the concept pick-up truck is our first look at the next-generation Strada/Triton.
A few months after, we were able to receive confirmation that the all-new Mitsubishi Strada will be making its official debut in ASEAN this July. With the automaker focusing most of its efforts in Southeast Asia, it's not surprising Mitsubishi has chosen the region to hold its global debut.

But on what exact date will Mitsubishi actually reveal the all-new Strada/Triton to the public? According to our friends over at headlightmag, the automaker will hold the world premiere on July 26, 2023, and it will be unveiled in Thailand.
Aside from that, our friends at headlightmag.com also shared additional info about the soon-to-be-revealed pick-up truck. For starters, it will supposedly be powered by a 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine called the 4N16. It's essentially a derivative of the 2.4-liter 4N15 turbo-diesel found in the current Strada but could come with several improvements.

Currently, the 4N16 is seeing use in the updated Nissan Urvan NV350 over in Japan and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Does this mean the next-generation Strada/Triton will get a new 7-speed automatic? That we'll have to find out come launch day.
There are also rumors going around the all-new Strada may also be available in EV form. This doesn't come as a surprise since Mitsubishi does have plans to release an electric pick-up in the coming years.
With the global launch set for the end of July, we're just several weeks away before Mitsubishi unveils the next-generation Strada to the world.
