S-Presso AGS: Suzuki PH plans to sell 500 units monthly
Will the S-Presso AGS become more popular now that it's available with Auto Gear Shift?

If there's one Suzuki that is popular with buyers besides the Ertiga, Jimny, and Carry, it's the S-Presso. Now available with the brand's 5-speed AGS (Auto Gear Shift), those looking for a high-riding budget hatchback need not worry about having to drive it with a third pedal.
Aside from getting an automated-manual transmission (AMT), Suzuki's most affordable vehicle has also been upgraded with dual front airbags, a new 1.0-liter engine with auto start/stop, electronic stability program (ESP), and hill-hold control (HHC) which is exclusive only to the AGS version. Did we mention both the manual and AGS variants now come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Since it now appeals to a wider range of customers, those who don't know how to drive a manual can now get the S-Presso AGS. But just how many units does Suzuki expect to sell? According to Kennedy Adia, Assistant Manager at Suzuki Philippines, they expect to sell around 500 units of the S-Presso AGS per month.

But with the S-Presso set to become more popular among buyers with its affordable price tag, size, and level of features, we asked if they expect that number to increase as the months go by.
“I believe so. Because as we go along, I believe that market acceptance for the S-Presso AGS will definitely increase,” shared Adia.
With a price tag of PHP 660,000, do you think Suzuki will sell over 500 units per month of the S-Presso AGS? Let us know in the comments.
