READ: Avoid these roads in Pasig City on July 1, 2022
In celebration of its upcoming anniversary, Pasig City will be shutting down several roads this Friday

If you're heading to Pasig City this Friday, you might want to check if the roads that you'll be passing through will be open on July 1, 2022.
The Pasig City government recently announced that heavy traffic is to be expected due to road closures from 6:00 AM onwards. This decision was made to give way to the Pasig City Civic Parade 2022 in celebration of its 449th anniversary.
The following thoroughfares that will be closed include:

-Caruncho Avenue
-M.H. Del Pilar Street
-Eagle Street
-Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue
-Rotonda Junction
-A. Mabini Street
-Plaza Rizal Intersection
-C. Raymundo Avenue (From Mercedes Ave. to Stella Maris St.)
-Mercedes Avenue (From Market Avenue to C. Raymundo)

With so many roads to be closed to the public, the Pasig City government has released a traffic rerouting plan for motorists who will be affected by the road closures. You can check out the alternate routes and see where you can go depending on what road you'll be coming from.

As gas and diesel prices continue to be at an all-time high, those who plan to go to Pasig later this week might want to reschedule their trip for another time. In case the trip cannot wait, don't forget to check out the alternate routes provided by Pasig City.
