Prices, colors, variants of 2022 Toyota Raize for PH
Toyota's smallest crossover will start at a budget-friendly PHP 746k

Right before the New Year, we got insider information that Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is looking to bring several new models into the country. Aside from next-generation Avanza, TMP is also set to launch a new crossover called the Raize.
Set to be revealed sometime in February 2022, it will slot below the Corolla Cross and will serve as the brand’s smallest crossover model in the country. Once revealed, it will take on the likes of the Kia Seltos, Chevrolet Tracker, and the MG ZS among others.

With just a month away before its scheduled reveal, an insider was able to provide us with new information about the upcoming Raize. Based on the info we acquired, the Raize will be available in four variants. These are;
Raize 1.2 E MT
Raize 1.2 E CVT
Raize 1.2 G CVT
Raize 1.0 Turbo CVT
That’s right, both the 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated inline-three and the 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder mill will be offered in the Philippines. Based on what our closest neighbors get (i.e. Indonesia and Vietnam), the 1.2-liter engine puts out 88 PS and 112 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.0-liter turbo produces slightly more power at 98 PS with 140 Nm of torque. A five-speed manual and a CVT will be available, depending on the variant.

When it comes to the Raize’s colors, there will be a total of six shades. For the 1.2-liter variants, there’s Gray Metallic, Silver Metallic, and Red. The 1.0-liter turbo versions get the benefit of a black roof that will be paired to Turquoise, Yellow, and White Pearl.

As for its pricing, the base model 1.2 E MT will retail for PHP 746,000. Go for the 1.2 E CVT and it will have a sticker price of PHP 816,000. Next is the 1.2 G CVT which will sell for PHP 906,000. Last but not least is the 1.0 Turbo CVT which will have an SRP of PHP 1,031,000. If you want the White Pearl finish, you have to pay an extra PHP 5,000 which kicks the price up to PHP 1,036,000.

Other specifications about the Raize have yet to be confirmed. As soon as we get them, we'll let you know all about it. But given that we’re only a month away from its reveal, we can expect more details to be revealed in the near future. With those prices, will you get the Raize over other similarly-sized crossovers? Let us know in the comments.
