Porsche celebrates 27th year in the Philippines with the launch of 2024 Cayenne SUV

After making its public debut at the 2023 Auto Shanghai, the latest edition of Porsche's bestselling SUV has arrived in the country.
Porsche Philippines has launched the 2024 Cayenne SUV at its 27th-anniversary celebration, featuring extensive changes to the third-generation model inside and out, as well as more potent powertrains and a tech-laden cabin.

The flagship SUV is being offered in five models: The Cayenne and Cayenne S that come in SUV and Coupe body styles, and the Cayenne Turbo GT.
The front fascia gets redesigned matrix LED headlights along with a new hood, grille and bumpers. The rear likewise gets three-dimensional strip taillights to enhance the Cayenne's already striking look.

Meanwhile, the cabin gets revised displays and controls that are part of the new Porsche Driver Experience. The Cayenne's gear lever has been placed on the dashboard to make room for the new center console.
The redesigned cockpit also includes a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment display for the Porsche Communication Management, and an optional 10.9-inch display for the passenger.
In terms of engine options, the standard Cayenne comes with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine with 353 PS and 500 Nm of torque – a 13 PS and 50 Nm improvement over the outgoing model. On the other hand, the Cayenne S gets a larger 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 unit that puts out 474 PS and 600 Nm of torque. For the top-spec Cayenne Turbo GT, power output goes up to the tune of 659 PS and 850 Nm.

As for its suspension, the 2024 Cayenne has a new two-chamber air suspension with revised electronics in Porsche's Active Suspension Management (PASM). It offers three driving modes : Normal, Sport and Sport Plus that optimize the Cayenne's performance both on pavement and off-road.
The 2024 Cayenne is now available for viewing at Porsche Philippines dealerships. While exact prices are yet to be revealed, they will start at 8 digits.
