Pirelli unveils Cinturato Rosso with puncture sealing tech in PH
Pirelli Asia unveils Cinturato Rosso passenger car tire with puncture-sealing capability

Pirelli has launched a new product in the market with the ability to let you continue your journey safely in the event of a puncture.
The manufacturer has unveiled the Pirelli Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside Technology. Much like other products in the Cinturato family, it’s designed for consumers with focus on everyday comfort and long distance driving.

Built on the original Cinturato Rosso’s focus on quietness, smooth handling and comfort, the new version retains its fully grooved tread pattern and noise-reducing central rib design. What sets it apart, however, is the Seal Inside Technology, which enables it to maintain air pressure even when an external object punctures and penetrates the inside of the tire. Unlike the usual run flat tires that use thicker construction, Pirelli added a material inside that forms an internal sealing layer.

According to Pirelli, the technology covers most puncture circumstances, with the sealing mastic able to cover tire penetrations up to 6mm in diameter. Pirelli also claims the effectiveness is assured on all the holes that do not compromise the integrity of the tire.

The Pirelli Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside technology is available in sizes ranging from 16 to 23 inches, making it suitable for modern sedans, crossovers, and SUVs.
