PIMS 2024: BMW i5 M60 Touring unleashed with over 600 HP
BMW PH expands wagon offerings with new i5 Touring

BMW distributor SMC Asia Car Distributors Inc. has expanded its offerings of wagons. After bringing the all-new 3 Series Touring, BMW Philippines has officially launched the 2025 i5 Touring at the 2024 Philippine International.
Even better is the fact that the automaker revealed the i5 Touring in top-spec form, the M60 xDrive. At the heart of the M60 Touring is a pair of electric motors that deliver a total system output of 601 PS and a stump-pulling 795 Nm of torque. From a standstill, BMW claims the i5 M60 Touring can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. It also has an electronically limited top speed of 230 km/h.
The M60 xDrive is then paired with an 81.2 kWh battery pack which gives it a range of up to 506 km on a full charge. Like most BMW EVs, the i5 Touring M60 xDrive supports both AC and DC CCS Type 2 charging. It's rated to charge up to 22kW via AC charging while its DC system can charge up to 205 kW.

Style-wise, the i5 Touring trades soft curves for sharp lines and angles. The wagon body style not only highlights the vehicle's more athletic appearance but also showcases the i5 Touring's more sculpted lines. Combined with the long hood, flatter rear window, 21-inch alloy wheels, and eye-catching LED headlights & taillights, the i5 Touring looks sporty and elegant.
Those familiar with the i5 (and 5 Series G60) cabin will find a similar-looking interior inside the i5 M60 xDrive Touring. It has the Live Cockpit Plus as standard which consists of a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. It runs on the latest BMW Operating System 8.5 and comes standard with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay.

Other key features available in the i5 M60 Touring include; power-adjustable front seats with memory function, a panoramic glass roof, Merino leather upholstery, 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats, a power tailgate, and an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
With the i5 Touring now in the country, those who prefer their new G60 5 Series can now get it with a longer roof and more luggage space.
The i5 M60 Touring can be yours for PHP 7.990 million and includes a BMW Wallbox charger plus a 5-year BMW factory warranty.
