PIMS 2024: 42,000 attendees recorded over four-day staging
CAMPI declares 9th Philippine International Motor Show a record-breaking success

The recently concluded 9th Philippine International Motor Show was the biggest staging of the event since the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) first organized the biennial show in 2007.

Featuring 17 of the country’s premier automotive brands, this year's PIMS showcased the latest advancements in the automotive industry. With a bullish buying market, CAMPI has reported that the 9th PIMS has concluded on a high note, drawing a record-breaking crowd of approximately 42,000 attendees throughout its four-day event from October 24-27 at the World Trade Center.

The event highlighted a range of groundbreaking vehicles and innovations, unveiled across participating brands including its first-ever global premiere. Each brand showcased its commitment to sustainability, safety, and innovation tailored to the Filipino market, from cutting-edge electric vehicles to bold design concepts and intelligent driving systems.

Special Guest of Honor at the Opening Ceremony was Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista, who addressed the transformative role of the automotive industry in sustainable transport solutions. His presence underscored the alignment between PIMS and the government’s initiatives to promote innovation in transportation and mobility.
In line with its mission to drive forward not just automotive excellence but also social responsibility, CAMPI is donating PHP 500,000 to the Angat Buhay Foundation, extending aid to victims of Typhoon Kristine.

"We believe in giving back to our community, especially during challenging times. Through this donation, we hope to provide a helping hand to those impacted by Typhoon Kristine and to continue building a responsible and resilient community." shared CAMPI president Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.
