PIMS 2022: Isuzu says mu-X, D-Max can average over 20 km/l
With just one full tank, D-Max was able to cover 1,564 km while the mu-X traveled 1,675 km

Customers that recently bought a brand new Isuzu D-Max or mu-X will be happy to know that both vehicles can easily average over 20 km/l. This comes after the automaker recently finished the Isuzu One Full Tank Challenge for both vehicles.
Announced during the ongoing 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Isuzu Philippines Corporation shared the news of the D-Max and mu-X's fuel efficiency achievements. Tallied and verified by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), the Isuzu D-Max was able to travel 1,564 kilometers or 20.58 km/l in one full tank. Even more impressive was the mu-X which was able to cover 1,675 kilometers or 20.94 km/l in one full tank.

The automaker was able to achieve this thanks to two separate teams (one for the D-Max, one for the mu-X) that embarked on a 5-day road trip. Both the mu-X and D-Max were driven normally while also traversing different roads, traffic, and weather conditions from Subic to Ilocos and then down to Bicol.
For Isuzu, this fuel efficiency achievement cements the brand's expertise when it comes to diesel powertrains. Moreover, they were also able to prove that the D-Max and mu-X are not just comfortable and safe, but are also economical and environmentally friendly - providing Filipino families with more savings and opportunities to travel and spend more time on the road.

To give customers a first-hand experience of both vehicles, test drive units of the D-Max and mu-X are available at this year's PIMS. All interested showgoers have to do is register at the Isuzu booth at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The 2022 Philippine International Motor Show is open to the public until September 18. Tickets for the event are priced at PHP 200 with the first 1,000 ticket buyers will get a 50% discount every show day.
