PIMS 2022: All-new Honda HR-V RS revealed for PHP 1.739M
RS model now serves as new range-topping version of the Honda HR-V

Those that have been patiently waiting to get the all-new Honda HR-V in RS trim rejoice! After teasing it a few weeks ago, Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) has officially revealed the HR-V RS Turbo Sensing.
Now serving as the new top-of-the-line variant, the latest model comes with a more stylish exterior and interior, additional cabin amenities, as well as the brand’s suite of intelligent driver aids.

Starting with the most obvious, the RS version gets a flashier and bolder exterior than the V and S variants. It comes with a distinct RS grille finished in chrome, RS-specific bumpers, gray 18-inch alloy wheels, sequential LED turn signals, full-width LED taillights with 3D effect, chrome side sill garnishes, and dual chrome exhaust pipe finishers. Other available extras on the all-new HR-V RS include an optional black-painted roof, a tailgate-mounted wing, a front lip spoiler, and a rear diffuser for an extra sporty look.
Like the exterior, Honda was busy giving the HR-V RS a sportier look and feel. An all-black leather interior drapes over the seats and is complemented by red contrast stitching which can be seen on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear selector, and door trims. In addition, the HR-V RS gets sports pedals, 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and auto rain-sensing wipers.

Similar to the S and V variants, the HR-V RS comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, along with Bluetooth, USB, and AM/FM radio. Meanwhile, a dual-zone climate control ensures the cabin is cool no matter the temperature outside. The rear passengers, on the other hand, are treated to rear A/C vents and USB charging ports for added convenience.
As mentioned earlier, the HR-V RS also comes with Honda Sensing as standard. This equips the crossover with intelligent driver aids such as adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, collision mitigation braking system, lane-keeping assist with lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, automatic high beam, and lead car departure notification. A LaneWatch camera provides extra visibility whenever the driver activates the right turn signal.

Under the hood, the HR-V RS comes with the now familiar 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine. It makes a generous 177 PS at 6000 rpm along with a meaty 240 Nm of torque between 1700 - 4500 rpm. Power is then sent to the front wheels via a CVT complete with paddle shifters. There are also selectable driving modes available on the HR-V RS; Econ, Normal, and Sport.
In terms of safety, the HR-V RS comes with the following; anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, vehicle stability assist, agile handling assist, speed-sensing door locks, a multi-view rear camera, and a host of airbags.

The all-new HR-V RS Turbo Sensing retails for PHP 1,739,000 and is now available across 37 Honda Cars dealerships nationwide. Available colors for the new top-of-the-line HR-V include; Crystal Black Pearl, Ignite Red Metallic, and Premium Opal White Silver Pearl which is an extra PHP 20,000.
