PHP 699,000 will get you 2023 Jetour Ice Cream EV
This tiny EV from Jetour can seat 4 people and has a top speed of 100 km/h

Jetour Auto Philippines may have just brought one of the most affordable EVs to the country. Aside from the Dashing and X70 Plus, the automaker has also revealed the Ice Cream EV.

Also called the QQ Ice Cream EV in the PRC, this pint-sized EV packs quite a punch with its efficient electric motor, relatively spacious cabin that can seat four people in total, and its unique interior packaging that maximizes interior space.
Beginning with its size, the Ice Cream EV is 2980mm long, 1496mm wide, and 1637mm tall. Despite its small footprint, the tiny EV still comes with a generous 1960mm wheelbase thanks to the far-flung wheels. It also has a ground clearance of 120mm.

Over to its design, the Ice Cream EV combines cute looks with boxy aesthetics. The front fascia greets passers-by with unique U-shaped LED daytime running lights along with circular headlights. The taillights also come with the signature U-shaped design which further accentuates the vehicle’s cute design. Finally, it gets small 12-inch steelies with a hubcap along with tires that measure 145/70.

Inside, the Ice Cream combines a minimalist design with simple ergonomics. The digital instrument cluster also doubles as the infotainment screen which saves on space. Meanwhile, the center dashboard features aircon controls via knobs. It also has a unique phone holder that can easily hold mobile devices in place.

Despite its miniature size, the Ice Cream actually comes with rear seats that can seat 2 people - giving the mini EV the ability to ferry a total of 4 individuals. In case you want to treat it as a two-seater, the rear seats can be folded down which can serve as extra cargo space.

Other available features inside the mini EV include a reverse camera, Eco and Sport driving modes, steering wheel audio and phone controls, center-mounted power window switches, and a USB charging port.

Driving the Ice Cream EV is a little 20 kW electric motor that provides 27 PS and 85 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. Depending on the battery pack, the Ice Cream EV can travel between 120 and 170 km on a full charge. Its lithium-ion battery has a capacity that’s rated from 9.6 kWh to 13.9 kWh and can be recharged to full between 6 to 8 hours. Last but not least, it has a top speed of 100 km/h.

The Jetour Ice Cream EV starts at PHP 699,000 which makes it budget-friendly for those that are looking to get a tiny zero emissions runaround. The Ice Cream EV, along with the rest of the Jetour lineup will be revealed to the public at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show next month.
