Paul Walker's 2 Fast 2 Furious Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII up for sale
The iconic Mitsubishi Evo VII used in the 2 Fast 2 Furious movie is up for sale

For anyone obsessed with cars, The Fast & the Furious isn’t just a movie series; it’s a full-throttle gateway into car culture. Beyond the signature Hollywood-style action, the cars themselves became stars, coexisting with the actors in equal measure. As each new film debuted a lineup of specially modified vehicles, they instantly achieved legendary, cult status, forging a lasting bond with car culture that still fuels our obsession.

Whether it’s the original The Fast & the Furious (2001) or Fast X (2023), movie fans all have that one car that sparks nostalgia and adrenaline. Few are as iconic as the modified 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII driven by the late Paul Walker as Brian O’Connor in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003).
Now, collectors have a rare chance to own this piece of cinematic history: a virtually brand-new Evolution VII, kept in pristine condition, used as a stand-in car for close-up shots, and never raced, is currently available for sale at the duPont REGISTRY.

With just 1,500 kilometers (992 miles) on the odometer, this customized Evo remains remarkably fresh, retaining its custom Kosmic Kolor Candy Lime Gold finish. It comes complete with the full DAMD body kit, featuring the original graphic livery, an ARC GT2–style rear wing, custom Genera TYC taillights, and Street Glow underglow lighting.
The Evo rides on 18-inch Motegi FF5 wheels wrapped in 235/40ZR18 Toyo tires. Inside, the cabin features Recaro seats, an aftermarket Apexi tachometer, boost and temperature gauges, and a Sparco shift knob. The audio setup includes a Panasonic head unit paired with a Rockford Fosgate amplifier and speakers.

Under the hood, the Evo comes with the turbocharged 2.0L 4G63 inline-four engine that was factory-rated at 276 horsepower, capable of 0 to 97 km/h in 4.8 seconds, a quarter mile in 13.3 seconds, and a top speed of 252 km/h. In a world where finding a Mitsubishi Evo in perfect condition is nearly impossible, this pristine example rises above, cementing its legacy as one of the most influential movie cars to ever hit the big screen.

Is Brian’s Evo one of your favorite cars from the Fast & Furious movies? Which car tops your all-time list?
