According to NLEX Corporation – the company that operates SCTEX – the Pasig Potrero bridge has been closed to all traffic since Sunday, July 16, 2023, and will remain closed until further notice.
Affected travelers are advised to take alternative routes. For example, travelers coming from Manila bound for Subic Freeport are advised to take San Fernando, Pampanga exit from NLEX and take the national road (Jose Abad Santos Ave.) and enter SCTEX via Dinalupihan Toll Plaza then to Subic. Alternatively, these travelers may take Jose Abad Santos Ave. all the way to Subic Freeport.

To go back to Manila, the easiest and simplest way is to backtrack the route to San Fernando, Pampanga then NLEX.
For further information, please call 1-35000 or message NLEX's Facebook and Twitter accounts @NLEXexpressways.
