Parade of Stars 2023: Avoid these areas in CAMANAVA on Dec 16
MMDA announces road closures in CAMANAVA area for MMFF Parade of Stars 2023

Here's a heads up to motorists in the CAMANAVA area – the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced the routes where the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival Parade of Stars will take place.
MMDA says the floats of the 10 official entries in the 49th MMFF will start from Navotas Centennial Park, then go towards C4 Road, Samson Road, and Mc Arthur Highway until they reach Valenzuela People’s Park, covering a distance of 8.7 kilometers for around three hours.

As a result, MMDA will be implementing temporary lane closures and a counterflow scheme in the following areas from 12:00 NN to 8:00 PM:
- C-4 Road (from Navotas Centennial Park to A. Mabini St.)
- Samson Road (from A. Mabini St. to Monumento Circle)
- Mc Arthur Highway (from Monumento Circle to C. Santos Street)

Since the parade will happen on a weekend, fans are expected to flock on these areas to see their favorite stars. And apart from the already dreadful Christmas rush, it's already a given that motorists will encounter heavy traffic along these areas and the perpendicular roads nearby. As such, the MMDA advises motorists with no official or urgent businesses to avoid the affected routes and take these alternative routes:
- Take Gov. Pascual and M. H. Del Pilar Street for motorists going from Malabon to Navotas
- For those going to Monumento, motorists may take the Gov. I Santiago Road, M. H. Del Pilar Street, and Samson Road route
- Take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) northbound and southbound.
Furthermore, MMDA wants to remind motorists to plan their routes ahead of time to avoid getting stuck in traffic as the MMFF Parade of Stars takes place on Saturday, December 16.
