Oil price hike: Diesel to climb PHP 6.10 per liter tomorrow
Diesel and kerosene will increase PHP 6.10 per liter while gasoline will go up PHP 1.40 per liter

Heads up motorists, you may want to fill up on diesel or gasoline today.
Last week, oil players imposed a price hike on all fuel products after weeks of rollbacks. With it, diesel saw an increase of PHP 2.60 per liter while kerosene went up by PHP 2.80 per liter. Gasoline, on the other hand, was only given a PHP 0.70 per liter price hike.

Starting tomorrow, however, diesel, gasoline, and kerosene prices will go up even further much to the dismay of motorists and public transportation.
Those with diesel-powered cars will have to bite the bullet as the price of diesel per liter will go up by PHP 6.10. Those that use kerosene will also be hit with a similar PHP 6.10 per liter increase starting tomorrow. Last but not least, gasoline will be slapped with a PHP 1.40 price hike.

The first companies to announce price adjustments are Shell Pilipinas and Cleanfuel. Beginning at 6:00 AM tomorrow, Shell will adjust prices in all of its fuel products. Meanwhile, Cleanfuel will increase pump prices at 8:01 AM tomorrow. Other oil players have yet to release advisories but expect them to announce similar price adjustments due to the huge price hike.
In case you plan on filling up later, expect long lines at the pumps as the day goes by. With that, we highly suggest you gas up early in order to avoid experiencing long lines at your nearest gas station.
