Officially Official: Geely Motor PH says they're ready for business
GMP is set to significantly revitalize its model lineup in Q1 2025

Geely Motor Philippines Corp. (GMP), a newly formed subsidiary of Geely Auto International, has officially taken over all business operations related to the Geely brand within the Philippine market.
This serves as a significant milestone for Geely Auto, transitioning from a general distributor model to direct operations. GMP will now oversee all aspects of the Geely brand within the country including sales, marketing, customer service, and after-sales support. This also demonstrates the brand's unwavering commitment to serving the evolving needs of Filipino customers.
The adoption of a direct operation model brings several advantages. Closer alignment with market demand will enable GMP to better understand and respond to the specific requirements of the Philippine market. This is to ensure products and services are more closely aligned with consumer expectations.
Aside from that, this will also allow for faster response to market changes with streamlined decision-making processes, allowing for more agile and efficient operations. Enhanced customer engagement will be achieved through direct interaction with customers, providing a more welcoming and personalized service experience. Finally, the new structure will support more effective business strategies, allowing for better adaptation to local policies and market conditions.

“We are dedicated to fostering a stronger connection with our customers and enhancing their overall experience. This transition underscores our commitment to the Philippine market and our ambition to provide Filipinos with world-class vehicles and high value services,” said Will Wan, president of GMP.
With the Philippine automotive market experiencing a dynamic shift towards electrified (and intelligent) vehicles, GMP will undergo a significant revitalization of the GMP lineup in the first quarter of 2025. Beyond the existing models, GMP plans to introduce more all-new vehicle models throughout 2025.
This strategic expansion will encompass a diverse range of powertrains, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrids, and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), ensuring we can meet the unique needs and driving preferences of every Filipino.

Last but not least, Geely Motor Philippines will also establish a robust dealership network under a direct operation model, ensuring a unified and elevated service experience for all our valued customers. This strategy signifies our commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty by delivering consistent high-value service across all touchpoints.
By directly managing our dealership network, the company will streamline the customer experience. This will allow GMP to implement standardized service procedures, invest in advanced training programs for our service personnel, and ensure the availability of genuine parts and accessories.
Geely Motor Philippines is looking forward to continuing its growth in the country by bringing innovative and reliable products while driving forward the adoption of sustainable and smart mobility solutions.
