Not Free Anymore: Ayala to collect up to PHP 35 per kWh for EV charging

Charging your EVs for free in Ayala malls located in the National Capital Region (NCR) will soon be a thing of the past this December.

ACMobility has announced it will start collecting fees across its EV charging stations in the NCR area. Beginning December 12, 2024, a nominal fee of PHP 28.50 per kWh for AC charging and PHP 35 per kWh for DC charging shall be paid by EV owners who wish to charge their vehicles. This initiative has been approved by the Department of Energy (DOE), which aims to create a more sustainable and dependable charging network that EV owners can rely on.

According to ACMobility, they are committed to putting up 250+ charging stations in over 100 locations nationwide by the end of the year.
