Noriaki Hirakata is Mitsubishi PH's first-ever Chairman of the Board
He is Chairman of the Board of Mitsubishi PH and Asst. Executive Office of Mitsubishi Motor Corp.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has opened up the position of Chairman of the Board for the first time in its history and appointed Noriaki Hirakata effective July 1, 2023.
As MMPC’s Chairman of the Board, Hirakata’s main responsibility is to oversee the implementation of strategic business plans by the Executive Management Committee to fulfill the brand’s position as the market leader in the Philippines.
The management of the day-to-day operations of the company will remain to be the responsibility of MMPC President and CEO Takeshi Hara.
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) is shifting its focus to the Philippines and is in the process of laying its mid to long-term business plan for the local market.
MMPC Chairman of the Board Noriaki Hirakata is also an Assistant Executive Officer in MMC. Holding both positions allows him to execute strategic business plans of MMC’s Corporate Strategy Management in the Tokyo Head Office while keeping a close eye on the coordination between MMC and MMPC to guarantee the smooth execution of business plans for the Philippines.
