NLEX Balintawak is RFID only starting October 15
More NLEX-SCTEX toll plazas adopt cashless toll collection dry run

If you've been passing through the country's many expressways recently, you'll notice that a lot of toll plazas have already converted to RFID-exclusive booths. That's because the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) is doing a two-month dry run to test the implementation of cashless toll transactions.
So far, there have been four batches of toll plazas that have adopted cashless lanes. And this month, another set of toll plazas are participating in the dry run.

For Easytrip subscribers in the North, TRB says the NLEX Balintawak and San Simon Southbound, as well as the SCTEX Porac, and Floridablanca Toll Plazas, will become RFID-only starting Sunday, October 15.
On the other hand, the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), which also uses Easytrip RFID, will also have its Greenfield (Mamplasan) and Santa Rosa Toll Plazas adopt RFID-only lanes by Monday, October 16.
See the photos below to see the rest of the participating toll booths that have converted to Autosweep and Easytrip RFID exclusive lanes:

The last few toll plazas that are not included in the list of participating booths shall still continue to collect tolls through RFID and cash. Meanwhile, motorists who have yet to avail of RFID stickers and will pass through the participating toll plazas will be directed to a safe location where they can pay the toll fees in cash, and at the same time be persuaded to have an RFID sticker installed.
But while cash payment of toll fees is still allowed, TRB encourages motorists to switch to RFID for a faster and more convenient entry/exit at the toll plazas.
