Nissan to join 2024 Ironman Philippines 70.3 triathlon
Nissan PH will be present in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu for the 2024 Ironman 70.3 triathlon

Nissan Philippines Inc has announced its participation in this year's Ironman 70.3 triathlon with three teams that will be heading to Cebu this April to represent the automotive brand.
The Nissan team consists of three groups: The Nissan Brand Ambassador group, the Nissan Employee group, and the Nissan Dealer Principals group. Leading the Brand Ambassador group is Nissan Philippines brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli who will kick off the triathlon in a 1.9-kilometer swim course. It will then be followed by actress Bubbles Paraiso who will be tackling the 90-kilometer bike segment. Last but not least, Nissan Philippines president Juan Manuel Hoyos will be doing the 21-kilometer run to complete the course.
The Nissan Tri team represents the daring spirit of the overall Nissan Philippines network of nearly 4,000 dealers and employees, showcasing their relentless dedication and truly personifying the Adventurers for Life mentality.
“Our Nissan tri team comprises not just employees, dealers, and ambassadors, but passionate individuals showcasing Nissan's DNA – daring to do what others don't. We dare to innovate, challenge norms, and set goals as One Nissan team to champion what truly fuels our drive for excellence and excitement. This is what the Nissan brand is all about,” said Hoyos.
Founded in 2013, the Ironman Philippines triathlon has established itself as one of the most anticipated triathlon races in the country with over two thousand participants from 46 countries, aged between 25 and 60 years old. The Ironman triathlon offers participants an exciting race with multiple endurance courses that are designed to push its participants to their limits. This year, Ironman Philippines is bringing its endurance race to the Historic Resort City of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on April 21, 2024.
