Nissan previews mobility concepts with non-stop livestream on YouTube
Livestream will broadcast until Japan Mobility Show opens on October 25

More and more Japanese manufacturers are coming out with sneak peeks of what they will showcase at this year's Japan Mobility Show, and they are doing it in their own unique ways. Mitsubishi made it clear they will have an adventure-themed booth at JMS, while Honda wants to cover all forms of mobility with its lineup. Isuzu will be showcasing the Giga Fuel Cell along with the Elf EV on its booth in the coming weeks.
But on the other hand, Nissan has made use of its official YouTube channel. They want to preview their concept cars using a 24-hour YouTube music livestream that will run over 23 days, totaling 553 hours.
The livestreaming features Lo-Fi music from six up-and-coming artists active in Japan and overseas who created their tracks based on the theme "AI enhancing creativity possibilities". Meanwhile, a total of four new concept cars will appear on Nissan's channel one by one each week until the Japan Mobility Show's press day starts on October 25.
The name of each concept car in the series features the word “hyper” to express the heightened excitement they aim to bring. The first concept car shown has been named the Nissan Hyper Urban, while the next three are yet to be announced.
What we could expect from the four cars is that each concept is represented by a symbolic character and has custom-tailored features that add value to unique lifestyles and diverse aspirations. In the livestream, the symbolic character called Yuki, designed by anime artist Asuka Dokai, enjoys the onboard experience in one of the concept cars.
The “Chill beats for a night drive with Nissan” streams from October 2, 5:00 PM until October 25, 6:00 PM Japan time.
