Nissan PH's new president is Juan Manuel Hoyos
Effective April 1, Juan Manuel Hoyos will succeed Atsushi Najima president of Nissan PH

Nissan announced the appointment of Juan Manuel Hoyos as the president of Nissan Philippines, effective April 1, 2022. He will report to Isao Sekiguchi, Regional Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Nissan ASEAN and will be based in Manila.
As the next president, Juan will be leading Nissan Philippines and continuing the strong momentum set by his predecessor, Atsushi Najima who was first appointed in 2019.
“With his extensive experience in the automotive industry across different regions, I am confident that Juan will continue to sustain the growth that Nissan Philippines has shown and established under Atsushi Najima,” said Sekiguchi.
Sekiguchi added that under Najima's tenure, Nissan Philippines Inc. saw significant growth despite the pandemic. During the fiscal year of 2021, Najima was able to bring back the company to its 3rd spot in the industry based on strong performances by its core models that include the Navara, Terra, and Urvan.

It was also during his leadership that Najima was able to bring the all-electric LEAF to the Philippine market. Last but not least, Nissan was able to launch the all-new Almera, the next-generation Patrol Royale, and the much-loved 370Z during Najima's time as president.
As for Hoyos, he brings with him a wide array of experience with the brand. Hoyos first joined Nissan in 2017 as Marketing Director for the Latin America region. After that, he moved to his next role as the General Manager for Global Engagement Brand based in the Global Headquarters. Later on, he became the Division General Manager for Global Brand Execution and Engagement Division for Nissan.
Prior to his commitment with the Japanese automaker, Hoyos held various management positions in Renault and General Motors.
Atsushi Najima, Nissan Philippines' current President and Managing Director, will continue pursuing his career as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nissan India. Meanwhile, Hoyos' official inauguration will be in April 2022 following NPI's Board of Directors' meeting within March.
