Nissan PH confirms all-new Patrol Y63 to get twin-turbo V6
The next-generation Patrol from Nissan will be a powerhouse of high-tech gizmos

Last weekend, Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) officially announced that the next-generation Patrol is set to make its debut this March. It will make its grand entrance near the end of the month and will be revealed at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell.

The exact specifications of the all-new Y63 Patrol have yet to be revealed by the automaker. However, the brand recently shared some of the features and equipment that will be available in the PH-spec 4x4. For starters, the 2025 Patrol will be powered by the new 3.5L twin-turbo V6 which confirms our previous report wherein the brand received regulatory approval for a new 3492cc engine.
Its output figures have yet to be divulged although it will likely be similar to what was launched in UAE which generates 435 PS and 700 Nm of torque. It will then be coupled to a new 9-speed automatic gearbox which replaces the previous 7-speed automatic unit.

The automaker also confirmed that the Y63 Patrol will come with the intelligent ProPILOT driver aid for peace of mind while on the road. It delivers semi-autonomous driving as it can accelerate, brake, and steer the vehicle on its own under certain conditions. For the occupants, those seated in the back will get to enjoy a pair of high-tech digital displays for in-car entertainment along with a 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio surround sound system.

Last but not least, the Y63 Patrol will come with an adaptive air suspension system – a first in its segment as claimed by Nissan. Not only will this system deliver a more comfortable ride but it's also set to give the all-new Patrol a more dynamic handling.
NPI has revealed no official prices although we will be keeping our eyes peeled for more info as we draw closer to its official launch a few weeks from now.
