Nissan, New Balance tie up to create Kicks 327 Edition
Catch the Kicks 327 Edition on the Nissan Crossing exhibit in Ginza, Japan

We've all seen footwear companies create products inspired by existing car models before. But Nissan's latest campaign in Japan turns out it's also possible to do it the other way around.
Nissan and New Balance have collaborated to create the world's only Kicks 327 Edition. And yes, the crossover's exterior has been made to look like the New Balance 327 sneakers.

The Japanese manufacturer placed the signature N logo of New Balance at the side and even attached an enlarged tongue part of the shoe on top of the crossover. Speaking of the tongue part, it's been designed to recreate the shape and even the texture of the actual sneaker which it was based on.

The shoe-inspired crossover is part of Nissan Japan's campaign to promote the Kicks e-Power 4WD. From January 24 to February 28, 2023, Nissan will be displaying the Kicks 327 Edition in three different locations – starting with the Nissan Crossing exhibit in Ginza.

In addition, Nissan and New Balance are holding a raffle draw where one lucky winner can take home an all-new Kicks e-Power 4WD, while those who cannot visit Japan to take an actual photo of the Kicks 327 Edition can still win a 327 sneaker, plus other authentic items from New Balance.
