Nissan exporting Magnite to more countries but not PH
Nissan Magnite goes on sale in 15 countries, including two ASEAN nations

In 2020, Nissan introduced the all-new Magnite in India as part of the company’s transformation plan. It’s effectively the smallest crossover in the range, slotting below the Juke and even the Kicks. Since then, the crossover has been introduced in several countries, including Indonesia.
Starting this year, however, Nissan will be exporting the Magnite to more countries around the world. In a press release, the automaker says the number of export markets for the small crossover has been expanded by 13, to 15 in total. The Magnite will now be available in India, Indonesia, South Africa, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Uganda, Kenya, Seychelles, Mozambique, Zambia, Mauritius, Tanzania, and Malawi.

“Magnite is an exceptional car and a fantastic showcase for Nissan design and engineering, as well as the strength and expertise of Indian manufacturing. I’m excited that customers in many more markets will be able to experience Magnite. It is a great example of Nissan's innovative approach in bringing engaging products, with a strong and uniquely 'Nissan' identity, to our customers,” said Guillaume Cartier, Nissan chairperson for Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania region
In review, the Magnite is one sporty-looking crossover. Up front, it features a massive grille flanked by a pair of slim headlights. Meanwhile, L-shaped LED daytime running lights incorporated into the bumper give the crossover a distinct look. At the rear, there’s a wide tailgate, an integrated spoiler, and slim taillights to complement the front. Under the hood, it’s powered by a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder mill rated at 100 PS and 160 Nm torque. Transmission options include a manual or a CVT.
From the list, the only two ASEAN countries are Indonesia and Brunei. But what about the Philippines? Will we be getting the model?
The indicator is really the list of the countries published by Nissan: all those nations have the steering wheel on what would be the passenger side of ours. There are no left hand drive countries mentioned. That tells us Nissan isn't producing a left hand drive Magnite yet.
If the automaker does produce the Magnite for markets Philippines, it could be a hot-selling model given the popularity of small crossovers in the country, especially since Toyota is set to introduce the Raize in a few days.
