New Changan PH: Inchcape preps new brand, new model for launch
The new Changan is ready to make its presence felt with experience leading the way

To say that the Philippine automotive market has been dynamic in 2023 is perhaps the biggest understatement. There have been many changes, many new faces, and many new brands. And soon there will be one more that will make its presence felt with a new company leading the way.
On the 30th of September, Changan Auto Philippines debuts under the management of Inchcape Philippines. This marks the company’s entry into the highly competitive volume market sector in the country, and it seeks to succeed with a range of models that are aimed to deliver great value to consumers.

Inchcape is a listed British multinational conglomerate with a core strength in the automotive industry. In the markets the company is present, Inchcape has focused on distribution, retail, and service, and they are now set to enter the competitive high-volume local auto market with Changan to add to their growing portfolio of premium automobile marques.
Changan Auto Philippines seeks to do that with experience at the helm. The brand will be led by Maricar Parco; an executive with a long and successful career in the local industry both in the premium sector and the volume sector.

What Changan seeks to offer customers is a range of models that include the Alsvin sedan, the CS35 Plus crossover, the larger CS55 Plus, and the futuristic and stylish Uni-T and Uni-K. Changan says they will unveil a new model by 5:00 PM on September 30, so we will keep our eyes peeled for that.
From October 1 to 7, Changan will hold a week-long event and display at the C1 strip in Bonifacio Global City. Customers can test all the Changan models on display during these dates, and they can even win some pretty neat prizes.
