MPT South donates 900 school kits for Brigada Eskwela 2025
Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa

Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to community development, Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) actively participated in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025. Under the theme “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” MPT South donated 900 school supply kits to public schools across Cavite and Parañaque from June 9 to 11, 2025, in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.

The initiative aims to provide essential support to students and alleviate financial burdens on families as the new school year approaches. The extensive outreach covered various schools in key cities and municipalities, including Imus, Silang, General Trias, Kawit, Bacoor, and Parañaque.
Among the beneficiaries were institutions such as Alapan II-B Barangay Hall, Malagasang II-B Barangay Hall, Hipolito Saquilayan High School, and Alapan II-A Elementary School in Imus; Tibig Elementary School in Silang; Cecilio M. Saliba Elementary School, Governor Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School, and General Trias Memorial Elementary School in General Trias; Florante Ilano Elementary School and Binakayan National High School in Kawit; Perville Daycare Center Moonwalk, Sto. Niño Elementary School, and San Dionisio Elementary School in Parañaque; and Salinas Elementary School and Longos Elementary School in Bacoor.
Each student received a thoughtfully assembled kit containing fundamental learning tools: ballpens, notebooks, pad paper, and crayons. These items are designed to ensure students are well-equipped and motivated for the academic year.
A significant moment of the donation drive was the turnover ceremony at Salinas Elementary School, which coincided with Bacoor City’s official opening of Brigada Eskwela 2025.

The event was graced by Cavite 2nd District Representative, Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, who expressed her gratitude: “Taos-puso akong nagpapasalamat sa CAVITEX para sa kanilang aktibong pakikilahok sa Brigada Eskwela dito sa Bacoor. Malaking tulong ang inyong suporta at volunteer work sa paghahanda ng ating mga paaralan para sa ligtas at maayos na pagbabalik ng ating mga mag-aaral. Maraming salamat, CAVITEX! Sama-sama, tulong-tulong, para sa mga paaralan ng Bacoor!”
(I sincerely thank CAVITEX for their active participation in Brigada Eskwela here in Bacoor. Your support and volunteer work are a great help in preparing our schools for the safe and orderly return of our students. Thank you very much, CAVITEX! Together, helping each other, for the schools of Bacoor!).
Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management at MPT South, reiterated the company’s broader mission. “We believe that our role in nation-building goes beyond the roads and expressways we build. It also means supporting the communities we operate in—especially the students who represent the future of those communities. Brigada Eskwela has always been a meaningful way for us to give back,” Capistrano stated.
This donation drive is an integral part of MPT South’s comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This program extends beyond its primary function of toll road operations, encompassing various community-based initiatives focused on promoting education, environmental stewardship, safety, and livelihood development.
