More powerful 2025 Porsche Taycan has arrived in PH
Revamped looks and improved tech make their presence felt in the 2025 Porsche Taycan EV

Remember when Porsche revealed the refreshed Taycan last year? Well, after making its global debut nearly a year ago, PGA Cars Inc. has officially launched the updated EV in the Philippines.
Featuring major yet subtle updates both inside and out, the all-electric Porsche Taycan has been given plenty of changes for the 2025 model year.

It gets a new set of LED headlights that come with a flatter design, with the housing no longer linked to the bumper's side intakes. In addition, the new headlights now come with 2000 pixels for better nighttime visibility. Meanwhile, the LED taillights get a redesign as they now feature the Porsche logo with a glass-like look that can be illuminated (optional).
Hop inside and the Porsche Taycan's interior appears to remain as before. However, the EV now comes with an optimized user interface for the instrument cluster, central media display, and the optional passenger display. As part of the brand's commitment to sustainability, the 2025 Taycan now features an animal-free interior.

As for its electric hardware, the 2025 Porsche Taycan now comes with a bigger 105 kWh battery pack which replaces the outgoing 93 kWh battery. Combined with an 800V architecture, Porsche claims the 2025 Taycan now recuperates energy faster at up to 320 kW which is 50 kW more than before.

A total of two variants are available for the 2025 Porsche Taycan. First is the regular Taycan which offers up to 678 km of range and can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Next up is the more powerful Taycan Turbo S which serves as the flagship offering. It generates 952 PS and 1100 Nm of torque which gives it the ability to catapult itself from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. Like the base model Taycan, the Turbo S variant also comes with a 105 kWh battery pack which gives it a range of up to 630 km.

Apart from the standard Taycan, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is now available as well for the Philippine market.
