Mitsubishi Triton GX 2WD AT launched for just PHP 1.43 million
Mitsubishi PH just revealed the most affordable Triton pickup with an automatic gearbox

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has just launched its most affordable Triton that's fitted with an automatic gearbox. With the excise tax making a return for light-duty vehicles, MMPC felt now was the right time to reveal a new variant of its midsize pickup truck.
Say hello to the Mitsubishi Triton GX 2WD AT, and it's selling for only PHP 1,430,000. Mitsubishi says the Triton GX 2WD AT is designed to bring comfort and true pickup performance to buyers at a more attainable price.
Like the rest of its stablemates, the Triton GX 2WD AT is powered by the familiar 2.4L turbo-diesel inline-four that makes 183 PS and 430 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox with manual select.

Despite serving as the base automatic version of the Triton lineup, it still gets some goodies like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a reverse camera. Since it's more affordable than the GLX and GLS variants, the Triton GX AT gets simpler gauges, a smaller multi-info display, and fewer buttons on the steering wheel, like the lack of cruise control (it still gets audio and Bluetooth controls).
Don't expect to find climate control on the GX as the base automatic only gets manual air-conditioning. It also has black fabric seats and fewer chrome accents in the cabin.
The Triton GX 2WD AT is available in the following colors: Blade Silver Metallic, White Diamond, Graphite Gray Metallic, Jet Black Mica, and Red Solid.
