Mitsubishi PH to bring back Ralliart as accessory pack

Those looking to dress up their Mitsubishi vehicles with Ralliart accessories rejoice. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) will be bringing back the Ralliart brand to the market very soon.

According to a senior executive of the company who wished for anonymity, MMPC will offer Ralliart as a sticker and accessories pack. This means we can expect Ralliart-branded decals, garnishes, special body kits, as well as blacked-out alloy wheels to be fitted on various Mitsubishi vehicles. But which models could come with the Ralliart parts?

We need not look far as Mitsubishi Thailand also revived the Ralliart name late last year. Over in the Land of Smiles, Mitsubishi is offering dressed-up versions of the Pajero Sport (aka Montero Sport) and Triton (aka Strada). The 7-seater SUV comes with red bumper garnishes, black roof, black grille, black tailgate spoiler, black wheels, red mudflaps, and a Ralliart decal on the rear quarter and door.

Meanwhile, the Strada gets the same exterior makeover but rides on a different set of wheels, along with a more stylish bumper kit. In addition, the pick-up gets a Ralliart-branded bedliner and black side mirror caps for extra flair.

Also available in the Ralliart kit is the Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback. Just like in Thailand, the five-door hatch comes with rally-inspired mudflaps, a red-colored grille garnish, and faux carbon fiber wheel arch panels. It even gets a Ralliart side sticker that's finished in the brand's signature colors, and gloss black alloy wheels. Inside, the hatchback gets imitation carbon fiber accents, faux metal finishes, unique fabric seats, and Ralliart-branded floor mats.

Don't expect to find any performance upgrades in any of the Ralliart models currently available. As we mentioned earlier, only exterior and interior upgrades are available to make the vehicles stand out more. Hopefully, Mitsubishi does come up with some minor powertrain or suspension upgrades like what Toyota is doing with GR Sport.

With no clear timeline yet as to when MMPC will actually launch the Ralliart accessories, we're hoping the automaker brings them as soon as possible for the Philippines.
