Mitsubishi PH reveals 2023 Strada S-limited to honor 100K sales milestone
100,000 units of the Mitsubishi Strada have been sold in the Philippines since 1993

Thirty years ago, Mitsubishi Philippines launched the second-generation Strada compact pickup truck to the local market. Back then, it was also known as the L200. Today, the nameplate has reached its 100,000 sales milestone.
Mitsubishi assembled the first-generation model in Cainta for export to various countries in the region. Sales locally began in 1993 with the second-generation model. It is now in its fifth generation and has seen a couple of facelifts, the most recent in 2020.

To commemorate and remember this historic and momentous 100,000 sales milestone, Mitsubishi Philippines has unveiled the highly exclusive 2023 Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited. Only 75 examples will be made and sold to the public.

The 2023 Strada GLS S-Limited has the marque’s engineering DNA and is meant to turn heads. Mitsubishi’s tagline for this limited-edition model is ‘A new fighter is born.’ From the looks of it, we cannot help but nod our heads.
Based on the photos on Mitsubishi Philippines’ website, this model is based on the GLS 2WD and gets several exterior upgrades. Outside, the body comes in a White Diamond color only. It gets LED headlamps and daytime running lamps, a new front bumper with a red accent, black step boards with red accents, a glossy black rear bumper with red accents, and a rear spoiler on the tailgate.

If you think the red accents are similar to the Ralliart model, that is where you are wrong. It gets a different shade of red, and the gray racing body stripe on the hood, tailgate, and door panels gives it a distinct appearance. There are also gray accents to frame the Dynamic Shield grille.

The cabin updates include black leather upholstery with red stitching (seats, steering wheel, hand brake lever, and gear shift knob) and the eight-way power driver seat.

Each of the 75 units goes for PHP 1.496 million. Mitsubishi Philippines should have gone for 100 units, but this makes it a more elite model. If you want one, contact the dealership nearest you.
Congrats, Mitsubishi Philippines.
