Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero Sport concept to debut at PIMS 2024?
Mitsubishi Motors will hold world premiere of 7-seater SUV concept at PIMS 2024

Mitsubishi Motors just gave us a very big reason to be excited about the upcoming 2024 Philippine International Motor Show.
For the first time ever, Mitsubishi PH will be hosting the world premiere of the brand’s latest 7-seater SUV concept. If we’re right about this, it could be our very first glimpse of what the next-generation Pajero Sport / Montero Sport could look like.

"The decision to have the world premiere in the Philippines is a testament to the country’s growing importance within Mitsubishi Motors' global operations," said MMPC President & CEO, Ritsu Imaeda. "This new concept reflects Mitsubishi Motors’ vision of delivering top quality vehicles to the ASEAN region, and we are thrilled that this will be showcased for the first time in the Philippines."
Mitsubishi only showed images of the 7-seater SUV concept’s front fascia and rear quarter. But by the looks of it, the 7-seater SUV concept is likely to also have a boxy look with a few styling cues similar to the all-new Xforce.

Recently, Mitsubishi was already spotted testing an engineering prototype of the next-generation Pajero Sport / Montero Sport prototype where they put the old body shell of the Montero Sport into the new Triton-based underpinnings. This could be the next step for Mitsubishi as they continue to develop the next-generation Pajero Sport / Montero Sport.
With that being the case, expect the Mitsubishi booth to be a busy one at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show on October 24 to 27 at the World Trade Center.
