Mitsubishi begins export of XForce to ASEAN countries
Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia has started exporting the all-new XForce for international markets

Several weeks ago, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) officially announced that the all-new XForce was on its way to the Philippines. According to MMC Representative Officer & Executive Vice President for Sales Tatsuo Nakamura, the Mitsubishi XForce is set to be launched in the country come June 2024. With only a few months to go, both MMC and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) are already making preparations.
Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) is also busy making units for export markets. In fact, MMKI has started exporting the XForce to international countries. A commemorative ceremony was held recently at the port of Tanjung Priok and included officials from the government of Indonesia & Japan, as well as from Mitsubishi.

The first market that will receive the XForce will be Vietnam which recently launched the all-new B-SUV last January 2024. The crossover will then be rolled out in stages across other ASEAN countries such as the Philippines and will be followed by South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
“We are very proud to export from our production hub in Indonesia. Going forward, we hope to export to various regions, thereby making a further contribution to the Indonesian economy and the development of the Indonesian automobile industry,” said Takao Kato, president & CEO of MMC.
With Vietnam the first ASEAN country to receive the XForce after Indonesia, MMPC's timeline of launching the XForce here in June looks to be right on schedule.
