MIAS 2025: Foton Traveller Sierra A/T previewed with 2.0L turbo-diesel
Foton Traveller Sierra A/T could sell for PHP 1.8 to 1.9 million

We already know Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) sells the all-electric Traveller Sierra EV, which has a price tag of around PHP 1.6 million. The 12-seater people carrier can travel up to 303 km on a single charge and makes 181 PS and 330 Nm of torque. Impressive, but some still swear by diesel power.

Fortunately, FMPI plans to expand the Traveller Sierra's model lineup. Say hello to the Traveller Sierra A/T, the ICE version of the people carrier that's powered by a turbo-diesel engine. That's right, it has a 2.0L Aucan turbo-diesel engine that makes 161 PS and 380 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels.

Size-wise, the Traveller Sierra A/T measures 5490mm long, 1980mm wide, and 2195mm tall. It comes with various standard features like leather seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital multi-info display, and a two-tone cabin.

For those who wish to treat the Traveller Sierra as their personal VIP lounge, FMPI is also considering offering bespoke versions of the people carrier. Made possible with Primera Klasse, the van can come with relaxation seats complete with an entertainment system. In addition, privacy blinds, USB and 240V power outlets, and even a massive flat screen can be availed in the customized version of the Sierra A/T.

Indicative pricing of the regular 12-seater version of the Traveller Sierra A/T will range between PHP 1.8 and 1.9 million. However, the customized variant will be available at PHP 3.4 million.
