MIAS 2025: Energized BAIC B60 Beaumont rEV debuts in PH
BAIC offers another eletric powered 7-seater SUV in the growing EV segment

Electrified vehicles continue to grow in popularity after United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) launched the BAIC B60 Beaumont rEV at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Unlike typical ICE-powered midsize SUVs, the electrified 7-seater hopes to strengthen its mass appeal by combining functionality and practicality with an electric powerplant.

As far as overall styling goes, the electric BAIC B60 rEV shares the same exterior characteristic traits and familiar silhouette with the B60 hybrid. Except for a small number of subtle exterior details that signify its change in powerplant.

Under the hood, the 2.0L turbo-diesel engine that propels the B60 hybrid variant has been tossed in favor of a dual-motor intelligent full-time 4WD system, delivering a combined 540 PS and 655 Nm of pulling power.
While everyone’s concern is about range and how far it can actually go on a single charge, this doesn’t pose an issue with the BAIC B60 Beaumont rEV thanks to an onboard generator that recharges its battery pack. BAIC claims the B60 Beaumont rEV can travel up to 1,200 km with ease.

Being able to go on lengthy road trips also means the B60 rEV remains capable when the paved road ends, utilizing body-on-frame construction with solid underpinnings. The B60 rEV comes with 215mm of ground clearance, 800mm of water wading capability, and styled 20-inch alloy wheels.

The commanding presence of the BAIC B60 rEV also comes with a luxurious interior that’s loaded with amenities such as first-class aviation seats with heating and cooling functions plus massage capability. A high-definition display highlights the instrument panel, while touchscreen infotainment with an Infinity speaker system delivers excellent audio quality.

Check out the BAIC B60 Baumont rEV at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show from April 10 – 13 at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City, which is selling for a MIAS-exclusive price of PHP 3.240 million.
