MIAS 2025: All-new MG ZS HEV previewed in PH
MG Motors showcases their next generation ZS during the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Out with the old and in with the new as MG Motors showcased their next-generation ZS during the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). This subcompact crossover now adopts a more dynamic look from the previous model, along with a restyled interior. The result is an upscale look and feel along with new and improved technologies, including a new electrified powertrain.
Propelling the 2025 MG ZS HEV is a new Hybrid+ powertrain with a 1.5L engine that's assisted by an electric motor and a 1.83 kWh battery pack. The engine provides a decent 136 PS, but with electrification, it has a combined system output of 196 PS along with 250 Nm of torque.

Transferring all that power to the wheels is a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). This allows the 2025 MG ZS HEV to sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds. More importantly, the ZS Hybrid+ has a combined average fuel consumption of about 25 km/L.
The 2025 MG ZS HEV projects a bold front fascia with a distinct front grille that’s adorned by a set of nicely sculpted vents on either side. A dynamic pair of LED headlamps with daytime running lights give it more character, with the iconic MG emblem occupying the leading edge of the hood.

Style-wise, the flowing curves of the MG ZS HEV are highlighted by upswept rear fenders that rise with the rear quarter windows. Other notable details include LED taillights, black body cladding, and faux exhaust finishers integrated into the rear bumper
Inside, the all-new MG ZS HEV has a stylish yet minimalist cabin that looks to have been inspired by the MG One. There’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, faux metal accents on the aircon vents, and a unique-looking center console.

Other in-car amenities available include satellite navigation, a six-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a power sunroof, leather seats, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a suite of intelligent driver aids.
For now, the MG ZS HEV is being previewed for the Philippine market, although we won't be surprised if the automaker eventually launches it. Check it out at the MG display booth at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show from April 10 – 13 at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City
