MIAS 2024: Jetour PH debuts T2, Dashing PHEV to public
Jetour PH makes its presence felt at 2024 Manila International Auto Show

Jetour Auto Philippines’ newest additions to its lineup have taken center stage at this year’s Manila International Auto Show.
Making its public debut at the World Trade Center are the go-anywhere Jetour T2 SUV and the electrified Dashing PHEV crossover.

Starting with the T2, the SUV serves as the brand’s flagship model with exceptional off-road capabilities. Sporting the classic boxy 4x4 look with a modern touch, the Jetour T2 has a design that appears to have been inspired by the Defender from its joint venture partner, Land Rover.
The T2 measures 4785mm long, 2006mm wide, 1880mm tall, and has a 2800mm wheelbase. It has a minimum ground clearance of 220mm and a curb weight of around 1880kg. It also gets stylish 20-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in 255/55 series tires.
Jetour revealed the T2 SUV in two variants – the T2 Beyond is the standard variant, while the top-spec T2 Terrain is fitted with a side ladder and adventure box on the exterior. The T2 Beyond sells for PHP 2.498 million while the T2 Terrain retails for PHP 2.598 million.

Inside, the T2 continues the boxy design for its dashboard that features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 15.6-inch tablet-inspired touchscreen display for the infotainment system. The latter supports wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay, and there’s plenty of USB charging ports inside for keeping mobile devices juiced up.
Other features of the Jetour T2 include; dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents, LED ambient lighting, leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, power-adjustable front seats with a cooling function, a panoramic sunroof and a 12-speaker sound system from Sony.

Powering the Jetour T2 is a 2.0-liter, inline four cylinder turbo engine that puts out 254 PS and 390 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 7-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission that gives power to all four wheels through the real-time 4WD system with intelligent terrain management system and water wading technology.

On the other hand, the PHEV version of the Jetour Dashing comes as the variant that’s capable of running purely on electric power for up to 100 km. The Jetour Dashing PHEV packs a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine mated to a pair of electric motors, giving a total system output of 326 PS and 545 Nm of torque.

The Dashing PHEV is also capable of powering electronic devices through its 19.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that has a vehicle-to-load function. For charging purposes, the Dashing PHEV has a GB/T and Type 2 socket.
But unlike the Jetour T2, the Dashing PHEV is only limited to 10 units with an introductory price of PHP 1.95 million.

Catch the Jetour T2 and Dashing PHEV on display at World Trade Center from April 4 to 7 in the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.
