Changan showcases CS15 crossover at 2024 Manila International Auto Show

Changan’s latest sub-1 million crossover is out for the public to see at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.

Making its public debut at MIAS is the 2024 CS15 crossover, which has been launched prior to this year’s show. The CS15 is Changan’s entry-level small crossover that will compete with the likes of the Chery Tiggo 2, Geely GX3 Pro and the Toyota Raize.

Changan Auto Philippines has announced the CS15 is priced at PHP 799,000. For that money, you get a crossover that’s packed with lots of interior features such as a sunroof, an all-digital instrument cluster, an iOS/Android compatible infotainment system, as well as leather seats.

Powering the Changan CS15 is the familiar 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine found on the Alsvin sedan. It puts out 107 PS and 145 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.

In terms of safety, the CS15 is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS with EBD and brake assist, dual front and side airbags, child safety locks, hill hold control and a tire pressure monitoring system. Also, there are driver assistance features such as standard cruise control, rear parking sensors, and a reverse camera.

The 2024 Changan CS15 is available in five color choices: Flame Red, Aurora Blue, Blizzard White, Cosmic Silver, and Galaxy Black.
Throughout the entire course of MIAS 2024, Changan is offering test drives of the CS15, along with other vehicles in its model lineup. On top of Changan’s 5-year, 150,000 km warranty and a complimentary checkup within the first 5,000 km, those who will reserve the CS15 at MIAS will receive a PHP 50,000 cash discount and a free 2-year PMS. Financing options are also available through the brand’s partnership with BPI.
