MIAS 2024: 544 HP MG Cyberster EV is yours for around PHP 4.5M
Electric power meets roadster styling in 2024 MG Cyberster in PH

MG Philippines has just made a huge statement at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). After giving us a preview last Christmas and earlier this year, the automaker has officially unveiled the MG Cyberster to the public.
Combining the sporty driving characteristics of a roadster and the instantaneous torque delivery of an all-electric powertrain, the MG Cyberster is proof you can still have fun without an engine under the hood. Better yet, the automaker has opened the order books to interested customers and has revealed the suggested retail price.

At the heart of the Cyberster is a pair of electric motors that are placed on each axle. This gives the AWD MG Cyberster a healthy 544 PS with a generous 720 nm of torque. This gives the electric droptop the ability to sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. With a fully charged 77 kWh battery pack, MG says the Cyberster can do up to 446 km based on the WLTP cycle.
Design-wise, the MG Cyberster features a distinct sporty design that is highlighted by a long hood & short deck design. The front end gets a pair of eye-catching LED headlights along with a low-slung bumper with cooling intakes for the brakes. The rear also comes with its own unique set of LED taillights, an integrated diffuser on the rear bumper, and a cover where the fabric soft-top is stowed away.

Perhaps serving as the main highlight of the vehicle (besides the droptop itself) are the doors. While they may look like typical car doors, they are actually scissor doors that can open vertically much like what you would find on a Lamborghini. Topping everything off are the massive 20-inch alloy wheels.
Hop aboard and the Cyberster welcomes occupants into a red leather interior along with a bevy of displays. In front of the driver is an all-digital instrument cluster along with a touchscreen infotainment system placed on the center dash that supports Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Also worth mentioning are the button-style gear selector, an HVAC panel on the center console, power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, zero gravity seats, interior LED ambient lighting, a Ferrari-style leather steering wheel with push-button start, and buttresses behind the driver & passenger.

Want to get one for yourself? The MG Cyberster EV is currently on display at the SMX Convention Center until April 7, 2024, and will retail for approximately PHP 4.5 million.
