MIAS 2023: All-new GAC Emkoo crossover starts at PHP 1.413M
GAC launches stylish, fully-loaded Emkoo crossover at MIAS 2023

It's stylish, it's powerful, and it wants to make its presence felt.
GAC has officially launched the all-new Emkoo crossover at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show. Featuring a striking design both inside and out, the all-new Emkoo crossover is GAC's answer to the likes of the Ford Territory, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, and Geely Azkarra.

Size-wise, the 2023 GAC Emkoo is the brand's latest addition to the compact crossover segment. Measuring 4,680 mm long, 1,901 mm wide, 1,670 mm tall, and a 2,750 mm long wheelbase, the crossover is underpinned by the GAC Global Platform Modular Architecture (GPMA).

The Emkoo's edgy look is nothing like we've seen from GAC before, and it shows the progress of the brand along with the Empow and GS8 in terms of car design. The sharp lines coupled with the slim LED lights both at the front and rear make the Emkoo look like a concept car. Its flush door handles are the first for a GAC model in the country.

Inside, the most striking feature of the Emkoo is its funky paddle-style door handles, which go along with its futuristic theme. Other prominent features of the Emkoo include a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch central screen for the infotainment system, a 7-inch screen for the instrument panel, the D-cut steering wheel that houses the controls for the audio, automatic climate control, and GAC's ADiGO 5.0 advanced driver assistance system.

There's a single powertrain option for the 2023 GAC Emkoo – a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine with 177 PS and 270 Nm paired to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. If the engine and power figures sound familiar, that is because the Emkoo is powered by the same engine as the Empow.
As mentioned earlier, the GAC Emkoo has the ADiGO ADAS suite, which means the crossover gets advanced features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Integrated Cruise Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist among others.

GAC offers the 2023 Emkoo in the following colors: Lagoon Green, Glacier White, Moon Grey, Starry Silver, and Elegant Black. Pricing of the 2023 Emkoo is as follows:
GAC Emkoo GE 1.5T 7DCT – PHP 1,413,000
GAC Emkoo GL 1.5T 7DCT – PHP 1,553,000
The all-new Emkoo crossover is on display at GAC's booth in the 2023 Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center Manila from April 13 to 16.
