MIAS 2022: Nissan previews e-Power hybrid with Kicks
Nissan previews an electrified drive system with the Kicks e-Power

We could be having our first look at the Nissan Juke's successor. And it's definitely a good-looking one.
Nissan Philippines Inc. displayed the Nissan Kicks e-Power at the Manila International Auto Show and highlighted the unique electrified drive technology of the crossover.
The upcoming B-segment crossover has Nissan's signature V-Motion grille flanked by long and thin LED headlights together with large corner intakes. At the rear, the taillights have slim units that complement the front. Lastly, the stylish 17-inch wheels completes the hybrid's attractive looks.

Here's perhaps the most interesting bit about the crossover; its way of propulsion. Based on the Thai-spec Kicks, Nissan's unique e-Power hybrid powertrain produces 129 PS and 260 Nm of torque. The electric motors drive the crossover's front wheels, while the 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine mainly acts as a generator to charge up the batteries. This means the Kicks e-Power doesn't need to be plugged in.
However, nothing has been confirmed yet as to when Nissan Philippines would offer the Kicks e-Power. But now that they have shown its unique drive technology, it might just be a matter of time before the hybrid crossover is launched for the Philippine market.
For those who'd like to see the Nissan Kicks e-Power in the metal, all you have to do is head on to the Manila International Auto Show to know more about the e-Power technology.
