MG Cyber GTS Concept is the Cyberster's hardtop twin
MG Cyber GTS Concept debuts at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

MG marked its return to building classic roadsters with the Cyberster, but now it looks like they’re about to roll out another British classic – a 2-door sports coupe.
Say hello to the MG Cyber GTS Concept. Yes, while it already looks ready to enter production, MG is still keeping the EV coupe as a concept for now. It was revealed at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed wearing the iconic Racing Green.

MG did not reveal much about the technical details, but the Cyber GTS is not just a mere Cyberster fitted with a hardtop. Looks-wise and proportions-wise, it does appear identical to the Cyberster, but there’s a 2+2 layout inside which makes the GT in the Cyber GTS as “Grand Tourer”.
MG chose a fastback roof design to blend in with a small ducktail spoiler at the back, and has a more pronounced diffuser element which suggests this could be more track-focused than the Cyberster that’s built for open-top cruising.

The brand says the Concept’s design pays tribute to the MGC GTS Sebring race cars of the 60s, celebrating MG’s rich history as it also celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
Unlike the Cyberster that’s available in the country with a dual motor setup and all-wheel-drive, MG says the Cyber GTS Concept is rear wheel drive. Should they proceed to enter production, then there’s good reason to expect the Cyber GTS could have the Cyberster’s single motor powertrain that delivers 335 PS.

As things stand, MG could be gauging customer interest for now with the GTS Concept. But considering SAIC’s manufacturing capability, then we won’t be surprised if it eventually enters production soon.
