Masao Tsutsumi is new boss of Nissan Philippines Inc.
Masao Tsutsumi will succeed Yasuhisa Masuda as president of Nissan PH

There will be a new president who will be leading Nissan Philippines Inc. starting next month. The automaker recently announced the appointment of Masao Tsutsumi as the president of Nissan Philippines Inc. He will report to Toshihiro Fujiki, president of Nissan ASEAN and Thailand, and will be based in Manila.
Masao Tsutsumi currently serves as senior vice president of Nissan Motor Thailand, in charge of non-Monozukuri (Marketing, Sales, Dealer Network Development/Customer Experience and Customer Quality, After Sales, Human Resources and Administration, Communications, External and Government Affairs, Legal, Information System, and Corporate Planning).
Tsutsumi has over two decades of experience in Marketing, Brand, Sales and Aftersales across various industries such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), technology and electronics, and food services. He first started at Nissan in 2018 under the Japan Brand and Media Strategy and became part of the ASEAN Market in 2021.

As for outgoing Nissan PH president Yasuhisa Masuda, he will take a new role that has yet to be announced.
Under Masuda's tenure, Nissan Philippines launched the Nissan Z NISMO, the Almera Sport variant, and the upcoming all-new Patrol. He has also expanded the brand’s footprint with four (4) new dealerships in the country. With his leadership, the brand celebrated its 55th year in the Philippines and introduced the new brand philosophy “Always Daring.”
Tsutsumi’s official inauguration will be made after his qualification under Philippine Laws, and the confirmation and election by NPI’s Board of Directors.
