Manila International Auto Show returns for 2022
After two years, Manila International Auto Show will be held from April 7-10, 2022

It’s been a while since motor shows were held in the Philippines. Last year, the Manila Auto Salon, the Trans Sport Show, and the Sport Truck Show were held simultaneously in November 2021. There were no motor shows in the country prior to that due to the lockdowns and the pandemic. But it seems that will all change this 2022, and it starts in April.
The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) has announced that the event will return this April 7 to 10, 2022, and will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
In review, MIAS is held annually wherein automakers showcase their upcoming and most recent models together with aftermarket brands, custom and classic cars, and more. With the recent boom in infrastructure, even truck brands hold displays inside and outside the venue.

For the 2022 MIAS, it will take place at the World Trade Center once again. Details are still scarce at the moment, but we won’t be surprised if several major automakers will hold vehicle launches or displays at the show. It has been two years since the 2019 MIAS took place after all.
There’s no word yet whether MIAS organizers will do something similar to the MAS/TSS/STS last year where only a limited number of visitors will be allowed at a time. Expect full details to be announced at a later date. Whatever the case may be, we’re excited to see that motoring shows will be making their return this year.
