LTO extends validity of plates ending in 8, 9, and 0
LTO extends MV registration and License and Permit renewals

Still have yet to renew your driver's license or motor vehicle (MV) registration? Worry not as another extension on the validity of driver's licenses and vehicle registration is now in effect per the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
With it, motor vehicles with plates ending in 8, 9, and 0 have their validity extended for an additional month.
For vehicles with plates ending in 8, your registration is valid until the 30th of September. Meanwhile, for plates ending in 9, the validity of your registration will last until the 31st of October Lastly, plates ending in 0 will have their validity extended until November 30, 2022.

The LTO has also extended the validity of Student Permits, Driver’s Licenses, Conductor’s Licenses, and Medical Certificates for another month. Instead of expiring on August 2022, the said permits and licenses are valid until the 30th of September this year.

Due to the slight rise in active cases, the agency wants people to properly schedule their registrations and renewals. They encourage the public to be safe and follow safety protocols when going to their offices to conduct business and help slow down the spread yet again.
