LTO extends validity of licenses, vehicle registrations for July
Due to the rise of Covid-19 cases, the LTO once more extends the validity of licenses and registrations for a smoother renewal process

Are you up for license renewal or does your plate end in 7? Listen up.
To our dear motorists with licenses expiring this month, the LTO has extended the validity of your licenses until the 30th of September 2022. This extension covers student permits, driver’s licenses, conductor’s licenses, as well as the required medical certificates.

This will give more time for people to renew their licenses and keep safe, especially with the recent surge of positive cases again. The agency wants the public to prioritize their health and well-being.

In addition, for those with expiring vehicle registrations this month, the LTO has also given an extension until the 31st of August. Within these days, you may proceed to any LTO main or satellite offices to do your renewals.
Always remember to observe safety protocols and bring your own sanitizers and pens when going to their facilities. Stay in areas that are well-ventilated and most importantly, don’t deal with fixers.
