LTO extends validity of licenses, MV registration for June
LTO announces validity extension of license and MV registration for June

We have some good news for motorists with driver's licenses that will expire this June and motor vehicles with plates ending in 6.
Per the Land Transportation Office, the validity of licenses expiring this June 2022 has been extended. The expiration date has been moved to the 31st of August 2022. This will give license holders more time to schedule their visits for a renewal.

As for MV registration, motorists with cars ending in '6' will be happy to know that their registration is still valid until July 2022. With that, they can still use their car without the fear of paying a late penalty fee when renewing their MV registration.

Don’t forget that safety protocols are still in place and should be followed when you do visit your respective LTO branches. Hopefully, by the time you go, the lines won’t be that long and the process will be quick. Most important of all, it will be safe and hassle-free for everyone.
