LOOK: This is the 2024 Kia Sorento facelift
See the 2024 Kia Sorento EV9-inspired face

After what looked like a teaser image of the 2024 Sorento was leaked onto the web, Kia has decided to reveal the first images of the refreshed Sorento.
That's right, what you're looking at right now is the 2024 Kia Sorento facelift, and it has received a major redesign, particularly at the front. Taking inspiration from the EV9 that was revealed earlier this year, the front fascia of the Sorento now dons a new grille while the Kia badge has been replaced onto the hood.

Perhaps serving as the biggest change are the new T-shaped LED headlights with cubed-shaped LED units along with the distinct LED daytime running lights. The LED foglights, meanwhile, have been repositioned on the lower air intake which makes for a cleaner-looking bumper.
Since this is only a mid-cycle update, it's not surprising to see that the side profile and rear end have been largely carried over. However, Kia did make some minor updates here and there. For starters, it gets fresh new diamond-cut alloy wheels while the LED taillights get new graphics to keep it fresh and up-to-date.
Moving to the interior, some might say the cabin still looks as before. However, one will immediately notice it now comes with a larger touchscreen infotainment. The bigger screen actually resulted in Kia making the center aircon vents slimmer in order to accommodate the larger touchscreen system.

Next is the climate control panel which does away with the buttons in favor of capacitive buttons which appear to have been inspired by the all-new Sportage. Last but certainly not least is a rotary-style gear selector. Currently, the PH-spec Sorento comes with a traditional T-bar gear selector.
Other details about the 2024 Kia Sorento are not yet available as its official launch will take place in mid-August. With Hyundai also set to launch more details about the all-new Santa Fe in the middle of August, it looks like Kia will also hold a similar event next month.
