LOOK: Refreshed Hyundai Stargazer launching in PH soon
Watch out, Xpander, the updated Hyundai Stargazer is about to be launched in PH

The cat's out of the bag. After making its debut in Indonesia earlier this year, Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has announced that the 2026 Stargazer facelift is set to be launched in the country.
This comes after the automaker posted several teaser images of the updated MPV on social media. Despite not showing the vehicle in its entirety, it's clear that the refreshed Stargazer will get its new look.

Like the vehicle that was revealed last July 2025, the facelifted Stargazer gets a drastic makeover, particularly its front fascia. It gets new LED lighting signatures, a more prominent grille, and a new set of LED headlights that complement the MPV's more squared front end. The rear, meanwhile, gets restyled LED taillights with thicker vertical elements. Last but not least, the license plate holder now sits on the back bumper.

Pictures of the cabin have yet to be revealed, although we won't be surprised if it is the same as the one launched in Indonesia. Like the Creta, the refreshed Stargazer gets a new dual-screen layout that shows the digital instrument panel and the touchscreen infotainment system.
On the other hand, the A/C vents have been redesigned and now feature a look that appears to have been inspired by the latest Tucson. There's also a new climate control system that replaces the dials with toggle switches and a new screen.

Under the hood, the refreshed Stargazer will most likely get the carried over 1.5L Smartstream G inline-four that makes 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and a 6-speed manual.
With HMPH already teasing the updated Stargazer, perhaps we're only a couple of days before the big debut.
